Park Rules

To ensure that everyone's stay is an enjoyable one, we ask that you follow our simple conditions of occupancy.....

Check In & Check Out Times

Check in is 2pm

Check out is 10am

Later or earlier times must be arranged in advance and are subject to availability.

Times may vary at each park, please check your booking confirmation to confirm times.

Reception Hours
Our office hours are 8am to 6pm & 8am to 8pm (during summer peak season)

Peace & Quiet

Please be considerate of others and restrict noise from radios, TV and social gatherings at all times.  No noise will be tolerated after 10pm, BBQ areas are to be vacated by 10pm.  Please do not hesitate to contact park management at any time regarding unreasonable noise.

Our holiday parks are family friendly - Holiday Haven has a zero tolerance policy towards abusive, offensive, anti-social or threatening behaviour directly or indirectly.  This will not be tolerated at any time

Noise / Antisocial Behaviour

We ask everyone to please be considerate of other guests in the park

No loud noise is permitted at any time especially before 8am and after 10pm

There is no smoking permitted in or within 10 metres of any park building or recreational area, this includes cabin accommodation and decks and building verandas.

Your Site

Please ensure that your car, trailer, tent, caravan and other equipment are contained within your site and that any draw bars are facing (but not on) the road or access way, for easy removal and towing in case or emergency.

Once settled please remember:

  • No solid fuel or open fires are permitted
  • Not to feed the birds or other wildlife
  • No trenches to be dug on site
  • Gas bottles must be in date and under current certification
  • Connect only one lead to each power outlet.  Double adaptors are not permitted
  • Caravans require a 15amp lead
  • Washing of vehicles or trailers is not permitted on your site
  • All ground covers must be shade cloth or aerated fabric NO TARPS. To preserve our sites, no tarp or solid mates are to be used on grass sites.
  • No tarp awnings and all awnings must be properly secured, please be prepared for afternoon coastal winds
  • Please use designated dishwashing basins provided in camp kitchens and do not wash dishes in amenities block or in laundries

Securing Your Site

All guest are responsible for securing their valuables at all times, including bikes, fishing and surfing gear, eskies, clothes and beach towels on clotheslines and verandas.  While we do our best to maintain a safe park environment, including providing security during busy times, Park Management or Holiday Haven Tourist Parks takes no responsibility for any damage or loss incurred to your belongings during your stay.

Bikes & Scooters

Guests are welcome to ride bikes during daylight hours, but no riding after park lights come on.  

ALL GUESTS (including Adults) must wear a safety helmets - if you don't have a helmet - don't ride a bike/scooter

Garbage & Recycling

Please wrap or bag all garbage and place it in the bins provided.  Only household waste may be placed in these bins.  Garbage bags are available from reception should you require them.  A recycling bin is provided for cans, glass, cardboard and P.E.T bottles.

Your site must be kept clean and tidy at all times

On departure please leave your cabin and campsite tiday and remove all rubbish

Additional Cleaning Fee

A minimum of $100 may be charged if cabin/site is left in unsatisfactory condition upon departure.  This includes smoking in a cabin or ensuite

Damage to Property

All damages to park property will be charged to the client's credit card


Safety is important to us, so we ask that you drive at walking pace or no more than 8km/hr.  Please give pedestrians right of way.  There is only room for one vehicle per site, so extra vehicles and visitor's vehicles need to be parked outside the park or in the visitor carpark.

Boom Gates

Boom gates are provided for your security. Please do not give your PIN to anybody under any circumstances.  Boom gate PINs are unique to each vehicle and site, if another person uses your PIN you may not be able to exit or enter the park through the boom gate next time.  Tailgating through the boom gate will result in your PIN being cancelled and you will have to park your vehicle outside of the park.


Parents are responsible for their children's behaviour at all times.  Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult to the amenities.  All children must be under parent supervision while on the recreational equipment or in the swimming pool. Hours of operation for pool and playgrounds are clearly displayed on the gate.

Under 18's

All children under 18 must be on their own site by 10pm unless in the company of their parents or an adult carer.

Persons under 18 (or person on their behalf) are not permitted to make reservations, unaccompanied minors will not be accepted as guests in the park


Park Management reserves the right to evict any person from the park who breaches park rules or the conditions of occupancy.

In An Emergency

In a life threatening emergency call "000" for Fire, Police or Ambulance in the first instance, then notify reception and Park Management.  For after-hours emergencies, notify the Park Management via the night bell at reception or the emergency mobile number displayed on the reception door.
